Nick den Heijer is a director of the Auckland practice and one of the firm’s founders. He leads the Transaction services and Business Advisory teams.

In Nick’s more than 30 years experience as a chartered accountant he has acted as a professional advisor to a range of high net worth individuals and mid-market businesses as well as larger corporates including those in technology, property, manufacturing, professional services, hospitality, childcare, Real Estate and Crypto.

Nick is driven to help clients implement the latest changes in technology to improve the quality of financial reporting, reduce compliance costs and increase efficiencies and profitability. With a focus on processes at a ground root level and strategy at a high level Nick assists clients in creating growth in underlying enterprise value. Nick is highly respected as an advisor to many boards, on strategy, and assisting them in their planning and decision making, so as to achieve to their full potential.

Nick has also had significant experience in succession planning, designing structures that allow clients to retain an interest in an on-going successful business but without the need for the owner to be tied to the company on a day-to-day basis.

Additionally Nick has assisted many companies overcome difficult financial situations by working closely with them, their finance provider and creditors to achieve successful outcomes for all involved.
