Business Advisory Services Manager

We are looking for someone to manage a business services team with 4 direct reports, who is highly organised and has the ability to lead and delegate effectively.

The role is a mix of accounting, management and advisory for a range of clients over a range of industries.

Whilst being responsible for an accounting team, you will do some more complex jobs yourself as well as meet with clients as required, whether to wrap up their year-end or assist with advisory/consulting needs.

Responsibilities include:

•Responsible for the flow, review and quality of work within the team
•Manage client relationships, workflow management and job budgets
•Provide advisory and consulting services to clients
•Prepare annual accounts and taxes for complex clients and groups
•Manage annual accounting and tax process for the firm
•Manage and review staff work (Currently 4 direct reports)
•Direct report to the directors, working with them as much or as little as you require to grow and develop your own skills.
•Inspire the team towards high levels of performance.

About You

•Minimum of 5 years CA experience
•Ability to take full ownership of the process
•Excellent organisational and communication skills
•Ability to lead and delegate effectively and inspire the team towards high levels of performance
•Solid understanding of the accounting and tax issues facing SMEs
•Proven ability to build a strong relationship with clients & colleagues.
•Experience leading successful teams, mentoring junior staff, managing priorities and delivering to deadlines
